Starting lines of the cue card~ sportsperson that you admireI know many famous sports person, who play different types of games. Such as Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar in cricket and P.V Sidhu in badminton and many more.
But Here I am talking about the famous sports person or the famous athlete that admire me very much is "Milkha Singh" also called the Flying Sikh.
He was born in a village in Gobind Pura at present in Pakistan.
During the partition of India and Pakistan, he was orphaned and he came to India.
After growing up through lots of hard work and struggle he enrolled in the Armed Forces where he with proper coaching and training became a shining star in track and field athlete.
In 1960, in Olympic Games, he set a world record which was unbroken for 40 years.
The enduring sports person Milkha Singh defeated an eminent runner of Pakistan in 1960. and the then general 'Ayub Khan' called him the flying Sikh and the name stuck with him.

though he might not have performed that well in some of the sports events because of lack of equipment training at that point.
but even then he became a challenge for most athletes of his time.
even today at the age of 88. he is like a young man he practices a lot of reruns even today and inspires youngsters and he is an inspiration of me too.
even there is a movie on him which I watched very eagerly and I'm inspired by all the things that he has done in his life I salute this athlete.
So that's why MIlkha Singh is the athlete who admires me a lot.
